Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Ambulance Care Assistant to join our team at EMED Group. As a key member of our patient transport service, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of patients to and from medical appointments.

About the Role:

This is a permanent out-of-hours position, requiring a 4-on-4-off shift pattern. You will work Monday to Friday (16:00-06:00), Saturday (08:00-06:00), and Sunday (06:00-06:00). We require applicants who can commit to these hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transporting patients to and from medical appointments
  • Assisting with patient handling and movement
  • Ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the ambulance

Requirements:

  • Committed to patient care
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Calculated and considerate driver with a full UK driving licence
  • Familiarity with the local area
