About the Role

Petroineos Trading Limited is seeking a highly skilled Petrochemical Operations Specialist to join their team in the UK. As a key member of the operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of trading operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate trade operations from inception to completion, ensuring timely and accurate processing of trades.
  • Work closely with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate trade documentation, including contracts, invoices, and shipping documents.
  • Monitor and manage cargo shipments, arranging transportation and storage facilities as needed.
  • Analyze and verify calculations related to trades, including freight, demurrage, product gains/losses, and insurance.
  • Maintain regular communication with internal teams, including trading, risk, and trade finance, to ensure smooth process.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in operations, logistics, international trading, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3+ years commercial experience in operations, logistics, or international trading, preferably in the petrochemical sector.
  • Experience working in a large trading organization is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of global shipping documentation, including Letters of Credit, and experience working closely with oil or petrochemical trading teams.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate must be able to work independently, handle complex operational issues, and maintain excellent HSE standards. Regular communication with various internal parties is essential, and frequent after-hours and weekend work may be required to complete operational tasks.

The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
