Key Responsibilities:- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge, ensuring that you are aware of all products and services offered by our Garden Centre.
- Contribute to the visual merchandising of our store, ensuring that displays are attractive and well-maintained.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and provide a positive shopping experience for customers.
- Previous retail experience is highly beneficial, but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Able to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays.
- Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and credit card transactions.
- A competitive hourly rate of £11.54 for those 23 and over (National Minimum Wage for those below).
- A 37.5 hour week, full-time, permanent contract.
