About the Role

GET STAFFED ONLINE RECRUITMENT LIMITED is seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Advocacy Professional to join our team. As an Advocacy Professional, you will work closely with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and goals, advocating on their behalf to ensure their voices are heard.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. You will be responsible for providing individualized support, education, and guidance to empower clients to make informed decisions about their lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement personalized advocacy plans, incorporating client goals and preferences
  • Conduct thorough assessments of client needs, identifying areas for support and intervention
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Provide education and guidance to clients and families on relevant topics, such as healthcare navigation and patient rights

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with vulnerable populations, preferably in advocacy or support work
  • Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle (for travel to client locations)
