About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Kingfisher Nursing Home, part of Westgate Healthcare. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare meals for residents in accordance with dietary requirements and preferences
  • Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen facilities, including equipment and utensils
  • Collect and distribute crockery and utensils
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic environment, adhering to health and safety protocols
  • Perform other reasonable tasks as directed by the Home Manager or Head Cook

About You:

We are looking for an individual who shares our values of compassion, care, and respect for others. You will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to work effectively in a team environment. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
