First Contact Paramedic Opportunity

This role offers the chance to work alongside clinical teams, delivering critical, proactive care to vulnerable patients.

You'll play a crucial role in supporting duty clinics, assessing and managing acutely unwell patients, and collaborating with clinical leaders to shape the PCN's paramedic workforce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Autonomy: Deliver comprehensive care to high-risk and complex-need patients, utilising advanced clinical assessment skills.
  • Patient-Centered Care: Work with a multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated care, support emergency interventions, and manage both acute and chronic conditions.
  • Collaborative Approach: Collaborate with GPs, nurses, and allied health professionals to provide holistic, patient-focused care while engaging in regular training and mentorship.
About You
  • Qualifications: BSc in Paramedic Science or equivalent, registered with HCPC, and verified against stage one of the paramedic primary care roadmap.
  • Experience: Proven ability to operate autonomously in primary care with strong decision-making skills in complex, high-risk scenarios.
  • Drive to Innovate: Eager to support service improvements, enhance care delivery standards, and engage in professional development through regular training and PCN initiatives.
