About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Senior Management Team as the Head of Bureau Services. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in shaping and improving processes, managing and motivating the Service Charge Team, and driving forward the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate preparation of service charge budgets and accounts within CEM workflow timeframes and in accordance with current legislation, lease requirements, and industry practice.
  • Manage the Transactional Service Charge Team, including Sales/Purchase Ledger and Credit Control functions.
  • Develop and maintain key relationships with external stakeholders, such as solicitors, banks, accountants, auditors, government bodies, suppliers, owners, and industry bodies relevant to the Service Charge function.
Requirements
  • Strong people leadership skills and excellent management abilities.
  • Highly motivated and organized, with the ability to prioritize and work with other senior colleagues to drive business forward.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly with MS Office and advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience using software such as Qube Property Management System is a strong advantage, but not essential.
  • Hold the Property Institute's Level 3 qualification in Leasehold Management and have a demonstrable understanding of leasehold management and Service Charge legislation.
