Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist - Critical Care and Surgery

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist to join our team at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for leading the development of critical care and surgical physiotherapy services at QEQM hospital.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and evaluation of critical care and surgical physiotherapy services
  • Provide therapeutic clinical expertise and high-quality advice and support to the multidisciplinary team
  • Develop and implement clinical standards and protocols, specialist evidence-based practice, audit, research, and clinical and non-clinical risk management
  • Collaborate with other clinical specialists across the Health Economy to provide a high-quality, efficient service

Requirements
  • 5 years post-graduate experience in a relevant clinical area
  • Proven record of providing high-quality intervention
  • Clinical educator experience
  • Participation in clinical audit
  • Evidence of clinical supervision
  • Participation in service development/quality improvement initiatives
