Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronics Hardware Engineer to join our Andretti Cadillac team at the Silverstone Facility. As a key member of our Electronics Hardware group, you will provide technical expertise and leadership to drive the development, delivery, and reliable operation of our car electronic systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead a team of engineers to design, develop, and deliver high-quality electronic systems.
  • Provide technical input into all aspects of electronics systems architecture and development.
  • Generate technical documentation to cover trackside operation, procedures, and updates.
  • Ensure electronic systems and installations fully comply with FIA technical regulations.
  • Ownership and resolution of electronic system faults.
  • Provide technical support within and outside the group.
  • Mentoring junior team members.
  • Liaison with suppliers and technical partners.

Requirements:

  • A degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering/Electronics) or similar.
  • Extensive experience with the specification and design of top-level motorsport wiring harnesses, including proficiency with electrical system design packages.
  • Experience with the design of low-volume prototype analogue and digital electronic circuits.
  • Experience with motorsport data logging systems, preferably F1 SECU.
  • Experience with automotive electronic systems, CAN, and sensing technologies.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Able to perform duties in a timely manner with minimal errors.
  • Ability to line manage/lead teams effectively.
  • Communicate effectively with key stakeholders/directors.
  • Clear and concise communication.
  • Strong levels of IT skills, including MS Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Positively contribute to an open and inclusive culture.
