Electro-Mechanical Industrial Door Engineer

Job Role: Electro-mechanical Industrial Door Engineer

Location: Derby & Reading

Salary: £43,000 per annum ( £55,000 OTE)

Metalis Engineering Recruitment Limited is seeking a skilled Electro-mechanical Industrial Door Engineer to join their team in Derby or Reading.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete services reports and provide support to customers
  • Work independently and collaboratively with a partner
  • Report to the Spares & Services manager
  • Repair and replace parts on door installations
  • Perform routine maintenance of door installations
  • Read and work from engineering and technical drawings

Requirements:

  • Reside within a 50-mile radius of Derby or a 30-mile radius of Reading
  • 5 years experience maintaining industrial doors (desired)
  • Mechanical and Electrical Engineering background
  • CSCS Card
  • IPAF/DHF trained
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • NVQ Level 3 - Electrical Installation
  • 18th Edition / Electrical qualifications
  • Will to work away from home for at least 1-2 weeks per month
