About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Cleaning Operative to join our team at EMCOR UK. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out cleaning tasks to ensure agreed standards and prioritize workload accordingly.
- Report any repairs or maintenance issues noticed during cleaning duties.
- Respond promptly to service shortfalls and ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct daily maintenance on machinery and report any issues.
- Perform additional or special cleans as instructed.
- Ensure adequate stocks of consumables are available and request replenishments as needed.
- Attend and complete training as required.
- Use chemicals and equipment safely and effectively.
- Liaise with customers and clients in a professional manner.
- Work safely and report any health and safety risks or hazards.
Person Specification
We are looking for a candidate with:
Previous experience in workplace cleaning (advantageous).Good timekeeping and attendance.Excellent customer service skills.A methodical and meticulous approach to work.Ability to read and speak English to ensure safe working practices.Benefits
