Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advice and Information Officer to join our team at Novax Recruitment Ltd. As an Advice and Information Officer, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and information to customers, resolving complex enquiries, and promoting customer independence.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Enquiry Resolution: Receive, triage, and resolve adult social care enquiries using a strength-based approach, helping people to help themselves either face-to-face, in writing, or by telephone.
  • Information and Signposting: Provide information and signposted advice to customers about the range of voluntary sector partners and other appropriate community services to help increase levels of customer independence.
  • Community Support: Be familiar with the range of community-based support services to help people become more independent, including equipment.
  • Customer Care: Promote and deliver the highest standards of customer care, which includes offering a professional, friendly, courteous service to contacts.


Requirements:

  • Knowledge and Understanding: Knowledge and understanding of key services within Adult Social Care.
  • Adult Social Care Knowledge: Knowledge of adult social care and the needs of older or vulnerable people.
  • Verbal Communication: Verbally resolving customer enquiries in a straightforward way.
