Care Support Assistant

This role is ideal for someone who wants to make a real difference in someone's life and help them grow in confidence and independence, achieving their goals, whether it's making dinner independently or going on holiday.
We're looking for genuinely caring and hands-on individuals with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support. As a support worker, you'll be helping individuals gain more independence in their daily lives, working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people.
About the Role:Our residential service, located in Melksham, is a welcoming and friendly environment where no two days will be the same. You'll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising, and doing lots of activities.
Responsibilities:- Teaching new life skills
- Assisting with personal care
- Encouraging individuals to access local communities
- Socialising and engaging in various activities
Activities may include:
- Trips out (e.g. Safari parks, beach, and other interests)
- Attending community local groups, coffee mornings, and discos
- Holidays
- Horse riding
- Sensory activities
- Hydrotherapy
- Arts and Crafts
- Coffee shops
- Daily drives
