Job Title: Payroll Business Partner

As a Payroll Business Partner at The Rank Group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our payroll processes. Your primary responsibility will be to manage all aspects of payroll processing and administration, partnering with our business managers to build strong relationships and drive compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process payroll accurately and timely for our Grosvenor lunar payroll using our payroll system Dayforce.
  • Ensure the correct calculation of pay items and payroll adjustments, including overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including PAYE, National Insurance, and pension contributions.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies or queries promptly and effectively using our service ticketing platform, Service Now.
  • Generate monthly payroll reports and backup ensuring the maintenance of accurate payroll records.
  • Partner with our business units and regional teams and build strong relationships and build and drive trust within the payroll team
Requirements:
  • CIPP qualification or equivalent or working towards a relevant qualification (preferred).
  • Proven experience in payroll processing and administration, preferably in a multi-payroll hospitality or events industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK payroll legislation, including PAYE, National Insurance, and pension regulations.
  • Experience using payroll software, such as Dayforce
  • Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have a drive to work with the team to embrace Dayforce and always look at ways to improve the way we work.
  • Have worked in retail/hospitality/entertainment within payroll and has experience of an hourly workforce.
