We take pride in maintaining the nation's highways, ensuring the safety and convenience of all road users. As a Plant and Vehicle Fitter, you'll be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing onsite breakdown assistance to the operations team
  • Ensuring completion and timely uploading of admin records for all performed repairs, servicing, and inspections
  • Collaborating with the Plant & Transport team to discuss service schedules, purchase order details, and stock level updates

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in both plant and vehicle repair and maintenance
  • NVQ/SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plant or Vehicle Maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and fabrication processes
  • Good understanding of health and safety legislation and Road Traffic Regulations
  • Ability to work night shifts and travel away from home
  • Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Full Clean UK Driving License
