Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Supermarket Assistant to join our team at the John Lewis Partnership. As a key member of our store, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and ensuring a smooth and efficient shopping experience for our customers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide a high level of customer service, answering questions and offering advice on our products and services.
  • Stock Management: Maintain accurate stock levels, restock shelves, and rotate stock to ensure a clean and well-presented store.
  • Operations: Assist with store operations, including cleaning, maintaining equipment, and adhering to health and safety procedures.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve store objectives and support the wider team as needed.

Requirements:

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Product Knowledge: Strong knowledge of our products and services, including promotions and offers.
  • Organization Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Benefits:

Working Hours:

Wed and Thursday 1800 - 2200, Saturday 600 - 1100.
