Job Overview:
The Accounting and Payroll Coordinator position at Ruby Electricity Ltd is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and motivated individual to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the production of regular management accounts and payroll production, while also providing support to customers, suppliers, and teams.

Main Accountabilities:
  • Coordinate the preparation of monthly payrolls
  • Process payments and manage payment schedules
  • Develop and maintain accurate payroll reports
  • Address manual pay adjustments and resolve any discrepancies
  • Improve payroll processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Liaise with the purchase ledger team to process invoices and manage supplier relationships
  • Perform bank reconciliations and cash management tasks
  • Provide administrative support as required

  • Demonstrated knowledge of financial accounting principles
  • Superb organisational and time management skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Self-motivated and willing to take on new challenges
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
  • Numerate and accurate with strong problem-solving skills
  • Flexible and adaptable with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively

Working Hours and Remuneration:

Monday to Friday, £21,000 - £22,000 per annum
