Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join our team at Carbon60. You will be responsible for developing high-power, high-voltage switched-mode power supplies and control electronics.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Specifying, implementing, and testing design updates to PCBs, wire harnesses, mains circuits, and other electrical items for new and existing laser systems.
  2. Liaising with cross-functional teams to understand current electronics issues and help find solutions.
  3. Developing EMC testing procedures for our in-house semi-anechoic chamber and performing EMC testing of laser systems.
  4. Supporting designs to achieve compliance with EMC and other machinery directives.
  5. Designing new electrical items as required.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is between £55k and £65k per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we offer a range of benefits, including:
