Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Operations Manager to join a high-growth business in Preston. As part of the company's expanding HR function, you will be responsible for managing the payroll process, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement effective payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and security of data.
  2. Manage payroll operations, including wage calculation, overtime, and deductions.
  3. Collaborate with colleagues to resolve payroll-related issues or discrepancies.
  4. Maintain knowledge of changing payroll regulations and ensure compliance.
  5. Prepare and submit payroll taxes, as required.
Requirements:
  1. Broad experience working in Payroll, preferably in a similar industry.
  2. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum.
