Job Title: Quantum Computing Researcher

In a prominent prop-trading house with offices in London and Amsterdam, we are seeking a passionate and skilled researcher to contribute to groundbreaking research in the field of AI and machine learning. As a key contributor, you will conduct high-level research to advance the HFT business of the firm. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and collaboratively with a team of experienced professionals.

The estimated salary for this position is £120,000 - £180,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description:
We seek a highly motivated and talented individual with a strong foundation in machine learning and mathematical statistics. The successful candidate will have practical experience with modern DL architectures, especially transformers and their variants. Proficient programming skills (any language, with Python preferred) and published research in top-tier journals and conferences are required.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct original research in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and related quantitative fields
- Develop and experiment with modern deep-learning architectures
- Analyze large, unstructured, and noisy datasets to extract meaningful insights
- Collaborate with leading research labs and academic institutions to foster innovation and knowledge exchange
- Continuously explore new methodologies and technologies to enhance research outcomes

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- PhD in Computer Science, or any other stem degree from a prominent university (or expected to complete this year)
- Strong foundation in machine learning and mathematical statistics
- Practical experience with modern DL architectures, especially transformers and their variants
- Proficient programming skills (any language, with Python preferred)
- Published research in top-tier journals and conferences
