Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Marketing & Event Specialist to join our EMEA operations team. This role will be responsible for executing innovative events for our M&A team and supporting various marketing initiatives across our portfolio. The ideal candidate will have experience in event coordination and management and will be able to oversee all aspects of events, from planning to delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Planning and Coordination: Develop and manage event calendars, goals, and timelines.
  • Create and oversee event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial parameters.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.
  • Develop and execute event plans from concept to completion, including logistics, vendor management, and budget tracking.
  • Coordinate on-site activities, ensuring events run smoothly and meet established objectives.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success and areas for improvement.
  • Gather feedback from clients and attendees to inform future events.
  • Marketing Support: Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns to promote events and enhance brand visibility through various channels.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Create engaging content for various platforms, including social media, email newsletters, and websites.
  • Analyze and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and events.
  • Relationship and Vendor Management: Build and maintain relationships with vendors, sponsors, and partners.
  • Engage with attendees pre- and post-event to gather feedback and strengthen community ties.
  • Research and negotiate contracts with venues, catering services, and other vendors.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
  • Fluency in French and English; Spanish is highly regarded.
  • Proven experience in event planning and marketing (3-5 years preferred).
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in marketing software and tools (e.g., CRM, email marketing platforms, social media management).
  • Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
