Babcock International Group is seeking a skilled Collaborative Platform Administrator to join our team at the Babcock Technology Centre site. As a Collaborative Platform Administrator, you will play a critical role in supporting the deployment of IT Portals Online across the organisation.

The Role

As a Collaborative Platform Administrator, you will be responsible for providing support, implementation, and continuous reviews across our collaborative portal services. You will work closely with the SharePoint Lead within Digital Solutions to ensure the smooth operation of our collaborative platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the administration of SharePoint and Oracle WebCenter Sites and the Data contained within
  • Adhere to policies, procedures, and other working practices
  • Provide updates and recommendations to the SharePoint Lead and support implementation of any improvement actions
  • Proactively identify opportunities for further use of SharePoint and Oracle WebCenter within the business, championing its use and capabilities
  • Develop and maintain an excellent working knowledge of SharePoint, Oracle WebCenter and other collaborative portal services

Requirements

  • Experience of software configuration, configuring sites, document libraries, lists, site structures and permissions
  • Some exposure to scripting languages
  • Ability to operate within a hybrid working team, build relationships across the organisation and be self-managed to deliver outcomes
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and can work under pressure to tight deadlines
  • A willingness to learn and develop a career within an IT Based environment

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
