Educational Assistant Lead

Key Responsibilities

- Provide Individualised Support: Offer personalised assistance to a specific pupil with challenging behaviour, ensuring their unique needs are met.">
- Behavioural Support: Employ effective strategies to manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.">
- Academic Assistance: Collaborate with teachers to implement tailored academic support plans, addressing the pupil's specific learning requirements.">
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and document the pupil's academic progress and behavioural development, providing feedback to the teaching staff and parents.">
- Communication: Maintain open and clear communication channels with teachers, parents, and other professionals involved in the pupil's care and education.">
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) and other support staff to implement interventions and support strategies effectively.">
Requirements
">The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational setting. The successful applicant will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work collaboratively as part of a team, and demonstrate empathy and patience when working with students with challenging behaviours.
