Job Summary

ASCL is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to support the Director of ASCL Cymru in undertaking casework and providing guidance to members. The successful candidate will have a strong background in educational leadership and a proven track record of writing position and policy statements pertaining to Welsh Education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Director of ASCL Cymru in undertaking casework and providing guidance to members
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of issues facing senior leadership teams in schools and colleges
  • Provide training and support to local representatives and members
  • Collaborate with the Director to inform national strategy and policy

Requirements

  • Proven experience of writing position and policy statements pertaining to Welsh Education
  • Strong background in educational leadership
  • Ability to deal with individuals at a senior level
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
