Job Title: Network Development Officer - Community Cohesion Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Network Development Officer - Community Cohesion Specialist. This exciting opportunity is part of the Stronger Together project, funded by the Community Lottery Fund, aiming to increase LGBTQ+ community cohesion and resilience across Wales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and service a forum for Pride organisers in Wales, working alongside external partners.
  • Ensure effective communication between network partners, including written bulletins and social media.
  • Identify opportunities for training, funding, and resource development.
  • Deliver the project on time and to budget, monitoring expenditure and reporting variances.
  • Represent the project and Pride Cymru at events, conferences, and meetings.
  • Promote the project through social and other media activities in liaison with Pride Cymru's marketing team.
  • Work with volunteers to promote attendance at Prides across Wales.
  • Collaborate with the project team and charity manager to deliver an evaluation and report for funders.

Requirements:

We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who is committed to promoting equality and inclusion. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team.

Working Arrangements:

This is a home-working based position with the option of working in our Cardiff city centre office. There may be occasional requirements for evening or weekend work.
