Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Design Team Coordinator to join our team at Innovate Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our design team, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of new energy projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the team Director in managing resources across active design projects, ensuring timely and efficient project delivery.
  • Create detailed reports to provide insight into resource allocation and utilization, helping to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with Development, Pre-Construction, and Construction Teams to understand project requirements and timelines, informing design needs and ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Support the maintenance of design programs and provide regular progress updates during project execution, ensuring stakeholders are informed and aligned.
  • Assist in post-project evaluations and reporting, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the development of best practices.
  • Manage and maintain Design Team document folders and procedures, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is readily available.
  • Perform general administrative duties relevant to the role, including providing regular updates to the team Director.
Requirements
  • 2-3+ years of experience in a coordinator role with an emphasis on time-critical delivery.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to manage different personalities and build effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Experience with MS Project, AutoCAD, and Procore is beneficial, as is full IT proficiency, including working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and email systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Creative, inquisitive, and enjoys solving problems, with a general understanding of the construction and energy industries and how construction projects are planned and delivered.
Remuneration and Benefits
  • Remuneration: Base £38,000 - £42,000 (depending on experience).
  • Discretionary bonus based on individual and business performance.
