Staff Nurse Opportunity at Frenchay Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our team at Frenchay Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre in Bristol. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients and contributing to a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Participate in the formulation of care plans and utilise appropriate assessments to ensure patient-centred care.
  2. Assess and manage risks identified through patient assessments, working collaboratively with other health professionals.
  3. Regularly review risk factors and modify care plans as necessary, ensuring evidence-based practice.
  4. Ensure clinical practice is consistent with relevant guidelines and organisational policies.
  5. Undertake clinical supervision to develop competence and clinical practice.
  6. Act as a mentor or preceptor to students or support workers, promoting professional development.
  7. Supervise junior staff in carrying out care plans, promoting a culture of excellence.
  8. Liaise effectively with carers, relatives, and other stakeholders to provide a seamless and integrated service.
  9. Comply with Active Care Group's Health and Safety Policies and Protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  10. Protect vulnerable adults and children from internal and external factors, acting as a patient advocate.
Requirements:
  1. A current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (RN), Mental Health Nurse (RMN), or Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD).
  2. A legal right to work in the UK.
