Join Our Team as a Staff Nurse at Frenchay Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our team at Frenchay Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre in Bristol. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients and contributing to the success of our multidisciplinary team.

About the Role

As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for:

  1. Formulating care plans and utilizing appropriate assessments in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  2. Assessing and managing risks identified through patient/resident assessments in conjunction with other health professionals.
  3. Regularly reviewing risk factors and modifying care plans as necessary in collaboration with the team.
  4. Ensuring clinical practice is evidence-based and consistent with relevant guidelines and organizational policies.
  5. Undertaking clinical supervision to further develop competence and clinical practice.
  6. Acting as a mentor/preceptor to students/support workers or healthcare assistants as appropriate.
  7. Supervising junior staff in carrying out care plans.
  8. Liaising effectively with all stakeholders involved in the care process, including carers and relatives, to provide a seamless and integrated service.
  9. Complying with Active Care Group Health and Safety Policies and Protocols to contribute to safe working practices.
  10. Protecting vulnerable adults/children from internal/external factors and acting as a Patient Advocate.
