At Royal Mail Group, we are seeking an experienced Automated Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability and performance of automation assets through completion of effective maintenance procedures.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical engineering, with experience in maintaining automation equipment. You will work closely with our engineering team to identify the root cause of automation breakdowns and prioritize corrective actions to meet operational processing requirements.

You will also be responsible for monitoring equipment performance and improving automation outputs in collaboration with operational stakeholders. Additionally, you will identify and work on Continuous Improvement projects, conception to implementation ownership, for machinery in the Hub/Mail Centre.

We offer a competitive salary of £51,051 per annum, plus night shift allowance, 22.5 days annual leave with bank holidays, and a defined contribution pension scheme. You will also receive a weekend supplement for Saturday (£51 per attendance) and Sunday (£102 per attendance) shift attendance.

This is a full-time position, requiring a flexible approach and the ability to communicate complex issues effectively. You must have a full UK driving licence, as occasional travel to other sites may be required.
