About the Opportunity:

We're excited to offer a challenging and rewarding role for a Programme Planning Specialist to join our team at BAE Systems. As a key member of our Programme Management Office, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive project schedules, ensuring alignment with programme objectives.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop project plans, including resource allocation and budgeting.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure timely delivery.
  • Provide expert guidance on planning and scheduling best practices, contributing to the development of project management procedures and guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, facilitating informed decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in project management, with a strong background in planning and scheduling.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Earned Value Management and modern planning systems (e.g., Primavera P6, MSP).
  • A professional Project Management Qualification or willingness to work towards accreditation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with complex engineering or production environments.
