Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Level 2 for KS1
Company Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing one-to-one support to a child in Key Stage 1 who requires additional help.
Salary: £12,450 per annum (pro-rata), paid annually on a term-time only basis plus 5 training days.
Job Description:
We require an experienced and qualified teaching assistant with the ability to work flexibly as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have good literacy and numeracy skills, experience working with children with SEN, including Autism and ADHD, and knowledge of how to adapt learning to meet individual needs.
The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other support staff to implement strategies from the child's Individual Education Plan (IEP). This will involve providing academic, personal, social, and emotional support to ensure the child achieves their full potential.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience working with children with SEN, particularly those with Autism and ADHD.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Ability to work flexibly as part of a team.
- Knowledge of how to adapt learning to meet individual needs.
