Job Title: Logistics Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Administrator to join our team at Hales Group Limited. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the movement of goods and materials, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and Manage Shipments: Plan and arrange shipments in the most cost-effective way, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Liaise with Couriers and Customers: Work closely with couriers and customers to ensure efficient logistics operations, including creating shipping labels and updating databases.
  • Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative tasks related to logistics, such as preparing reports and coordinating the collection and delivery of goods with freight forwarders.
  • Warehouse Operations: Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure smooth and timely dispatch of goods.
Key Skills and Requirements:
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a logistics or supply chain role is preferred.
  • Administrative and Organizational Skills: Strong administrative and organisational skills, with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and experience with logistics management software (ERP/MRP systems) is an advantage.
