Humanities Educator and Curriculum Developer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Humanities Teacher to join our team at Progress Teachers Ltd.
This role offers a competitive salary package of approximately £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, along with opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in humanities education, with the ability to develop and implement engaging lesson plans and teaching strategies.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver high-quality humanities lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Teach a range of subjects within the humanities curriculum, including history, geography, sociology, and more.
- Foster critical thinking, analytical skills, and empathy among students through innovative teaching strategies.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that values diversity and promotes social cohesion.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in History, Geography, Sociology, or a related humanities field (PGCE or QTS preferred).
- Teaching Experience: Proven experience teaching humanities subjects at the secondary level.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead by example and collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular projects and enrichment activities.
