Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Veterinary Care Assistant to join our team at Medivet Group Limited. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and make a positive difference in the lives of animals.

About the Role

  • This full-time position offers a competitive salary of £20,000 - £22,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • You will work closely with our veterinary surgeons, nurses, and support staff to provide exceptional care to our patients.
  • As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a gold standard service to our clients and ensuring the cleanliness of the clinical environment.
  • You will also assist with preparing and maintaining medical equipment, as well as dispensing medication under the guidance of the veterinary team.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in animal care or a healthcare setting is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential.
  • You should be flexible and willing to learn, with a strong passion for animal welfare.
