R&D Tax Relief Specialist

We're BDO, an accountancy and business advisory firm that helps entrepreneurial organisations navigate today's changing world. As a key member of our Tax team, you'll play a vital role in helping our clients achieve their ambitions.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the preparation of technical and financial assessments for R&D tax relief claims.
- Identify R&D projects and expenditure through participation in technical and financial discussions with existing and potential clients.
- Collaborate with our Corporate and M&A team to deliver tax advisory services, including core compliance, transaction-focused advisory, tax risk, innovation, and technology solutions.
- Work closely with senior managers, directors, and partners to help businesses effectively.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key business stakeholders, including CEOs, finance directors, and technical directors.
- Experience of leading and managing R&D tax relief claims for companies of all sizes.
- Strong technical knowledge of R&D tax relief services and industry equivalent.
- Degree-level qualification, or equivalent, in a relevant field, such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM).
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
