Job Title: Adults Team Manager

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd, a leading recruitment agency, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Adults Team Manager to join their Transitions Team. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Haringey.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the workload of the team, ensuring the care management process is robust, and that assessment of need demonstrates good practice. They will also be responsible for managing a commissioning budget, supporting the Council in providing analysis of the use of the team budget, and identifying areas where financial efficiencies can be achieved.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the workload of the team, ensuring the care management process is robust and that assessment of need demonstrates good practice.
  • Manage a commissioning budget by close monitoring of the cost of packages of care.
  • Support the Council in providing analysis of the use of the team budget and identify areas where financial efficiencies can be achieved.
  • Ensure that packages of care are innovative, cost-effective, and provided in line with assessed needs by embedding the Strengths-based approach in the team practice.
  • Contribute to overall service planning and the implementation of service developments.
  • Work with health professionals to ensure seamless services for transitioning young people.
  • Ensure that the young person and parent carer involvement is paramount and that care act assessments have high priority and are of high quality.
  • Ensure that case file recording and young people information is maintained on ICS and adults social care system, completed according to standard and linked to Performance Indicators.
  • Identify staff training needs and ensure high standards of professional practice through systemic individual and team development.
  • Investigate complaints from Council Members, MPs, and members of the public according to the department procedures.
