Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer (SRE) who is passionate about AWS, Spring, Microservices, Architecture, and DevOps. This is the perfect opportunity for you to join our team at Digital Waffle.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain our AWS-based cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes.
  • Manage and optimize microservices architecture for performance and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Implement best practices for monitoring, logging, and alerting.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize system architecture for maximum efficiency.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Software Engineer (SRE) in a cloud environment, with a strong focus on AWS.
  • Expertise in microservices architecture and Spring framework.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash).
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
