We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Supervisor to join our team at Michelin. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facility.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership, support, and direction to operations on a 12-hour rotating shift, including nights and weekends.
- Respond to the needs of the facility during your shift and be the point of contact for communicating all changes.
- Coordinate the response to any production disruptions, such as machine downtime, workforce shortages, or supply interruptions.
- Ensure a safe working environment for all employees and maintain safe operating conditions of equipment.
- Diploma or bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2+ years of demonstrated leadership experience, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience working in a mentor and/or employee development role.
- Demonstrated experience in successful resource planning.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and resolve issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including development of positive relationships with internal plant customers.
- Ability to set and achieve goals with minimum supervision.
- Confirmed proven teamwork, interpersonal, leadership, and planning skills.
