We are currently seeking a skilled Paper Industry Production Specialist to join our team at Coveris Group's Wisbech site. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining high-speed paper manufacturing equipment.
The estimated annual salary for this position is around £32,000-£42,000, based on a 12-hour shift pattern with a mix of day and night shifts. You will work an attractive continental shift pattern, which involves working an average of 13 shifts per month, with 8 days off at the end of your rotation.
We require an individual with experience in machine operation, preferably using Bobst 106 LER, Bobst 106 NOVACUT or Iberica 106. However, full training will be provided for someone eager to get into the industry. If you have machine operative experience involving attention to detail and setting up machines, we would like to speak with you.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Ensuring effective handover communication with previous operators
- Achieving machine targets and optimizing speed where possible
- Being proactive in ensuring all inputs are available for the next job
- Providing support and training to new starters or personnel as required
- Carrying out planned maintenance operator tasks bi-weekly, supporting engineers when necessary
As a Paper Industry Production Specialist, you will have great attention to detail, with the ability to problem solve and troubleshoot.
