Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the safety, quality, and legality of all food products made on site, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Develop and implement effective quality control measures to prevent contamination and ensure food safety.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, procurement, and logistics, to ensure seamless execution of quality assurance processes.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on quality assurance procedures and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
  • Level 3 CIEH Food Safety or equivalent qualification.
  • IOSH qualification.
  • Proven experience in quality assurance and industry knowledge of chilled/frozen food manufacturing.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
