About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Public Profile Manager, supporting the parliamentary office of one of our newly elected MPs. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and building the public profile of the Green MP nationally and locally.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, political environment, developing and delivering communications strategies to promote key campaigns and build strong relationships with local and regional media.

The role involves working across various topics such as new build housing standards, NHS and social care, river pollution, and voting reform. As part of this role, you will also promote the MP's work on key constituency issues and develop effective communication plans to engage with different audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and build the public profile of the Green MP nationally and locally
  • Develop and deliver communications strategies to promote key campaigns
  • Build strong relationships with local and regional media
  • Work across various topics including new build housing standards, NHS and social care, river pollution, and voting reform
  • Promote the MP's work on key constituency issues

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing or a related field
  • Proven experience in communications or public relations
  • Strong understanding of the UK political landscape
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment
