We're looking for a skilled and motivated Shift Leader to join our team at Tesco. As a Shift Leader, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our store, providing excellent customer service, and supporting your colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Take ownership of running duty shifts, coordinating the team to deliver a clean, well-stocked store that exceeds customer expectations.
- Be proactive in identifying opportunities to improve service, including coaching colleagues and providing feedback to the team.
- Support colleagues in-store, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues alike.
- Maintain a strong understanding of store performance, working closely with managers to drive improvements and achieve business objectives.
What We Offer
As a Shift Leader at Tesco, you'll enjoy a competitive rate of pay, starting from £14.28 an hour, with opportunities for increases based on location and skills. You'll also benefit from a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, with flexibility to work fewer hours if desired.
