Job Title: Senior Contracts Manager

Thales is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Manager to join our Defence Commercial, Legal & Contracts team in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Contracts Manager to lead our commercial efforts and provide strategic advice to our business stakeholders. The successful candidate will have a strong background in contract management, negotiation, and commercial law, with experience working in the defence sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide commercial advice and guidance to the business on contract management, negotiation, and risk mitigation.
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Manage and negotiate contracts with customers, suppliers, and partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective contract management and delivery.
  • Identify and mitigate commercial risks, and develop strategies to minimize losses.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in contract management, negotiation, and commercial law.
  • Strong understanding of defence sector commercial practices and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
