Job Title: Service Advisor Collections

As a key player in our dynamic team, you will be responsible for contacting legal partners and business customers on a daily basis and managing the collections process from start to finish. Your goal will be to thoroughly investigate issues and find solutions where possible, building strong rapport and trust with customers to collect outstanding revenue.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with third-party debt partners to ensure seamless collections processes
  • Proactively chase and collect outstanding debt on assigned ledgers
  • Implement payment plans with business customers to ensure timely payments
  • Resolve invoice queries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Liaise with the wider finance and commercial teams to resolve queries and issues on overdue debt
  • Provide weekly reporting on account and ledger status
  • Escalate problematic accounts to the Collections and Recovery Manager as required
Requirements:
  • Experience within a Collections/Credit Control role in a high-volume environment
  • Confident and comfortable speaking and asking questions on the telephone to gain a full understanding of customer circumstances
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to engage positively with team meetings, huddles, and wider business forums
  • Responsive to changing processes and environment
  • Excellent analytical and numeracy skills
  • Ability to prioritise and manage own workload
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to cope well under pressure
  • Self-motivated and a team player
