About the Role:

The Sanctuary Group is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to fill the position of Concierge at our homelessness Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring the security and well-being of our residents, and contributing to a positive and supportive living environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide a warm and welcoming presence at the front desk, responding to customer queries and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with residents, helping them to build confidence and independence through regular check-ins and support.
  • Emergency Response: Handle emergency situations with poise and composure, ensuring the safety and security of residents and staff.
  • Service Excellence: Go above and beyond to ensure an exceptional service is provided to our residents, including organizing social activities and events.
  • Health and Safety: Conduct regular fire safety checks and ensure the security of the service is maintained at all times.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident interactions and activities.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience working with vulnerable adults or young people, particularly those with mental health needs or substance misuse.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents and staff.
  • IT Skills: Proficient in using IT systems, including databases and software applications.
