Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Prescribing Paramedic to join our multi-professional team at Farnham Park Health Group. As a key member of our primary care team, you will work collaboratively with GPs and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be an experienced Prescribing Paramedic who can work autonomously and as part of a small team. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing clinical care for patients presenting with undifferentiated symptoms, from initial history taking to diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care.
  • Working collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to meet the needs of patients and support the delivery of policy and procedures.
  • Maintaining excellent standards of patient care and being self-motivated to develop and maintain clinical skills.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Paramedic qualification and experience in primary care.
  • An MSC or equivalent qualification and Independent Prescriber status.
  • Excellent clinical skills and the ability to work autonomously.
