Are you a customer-obsessed builder with a passion for helping customers achieve their full potential? Do you have the business savvy, Telco background, and sales skills necessary to help position AWS as the cloud provider of choice for customers? Do you love building new strategic and data-driven businesses? We're looking for a Senior Community Specialist to join our Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) Telco Data/AIML team as a GTM Specialist Solutions Architect.

The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) is part of AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS), which is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. We work backwards from our customer's most complex and business critical problems to build and execute go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses.

As a Senior Community Specialist, you will be responsible for defining, building, and deploying targeted strategies to accelerate customer adoption of our GenAI services and solutions across industry verticals. You will engage with product owners to influence product direction and help our customers tap into new markets by utilizing GenAI along with AWS Services.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Defining and deploying targeted strategies to accelerate customer adoption of GenAI services and solutions.
  2. Engaging with product owners to influence product direction and help customers tap into new markets.
  3. Collaborating with GTM colleagues to provide technical insights into GTM strategy and support field marketing to execute local technical events, campaigns, and customer engagements.
  4. Acting as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures, and public-speaking events.
  5. Guiding and supporting an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts aligned to your customers.

A day in the life of a Senior Community Specialist involves working with cross-functional teams to drive customer adoption and growth. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to accelerate customer adoption of our GenAI services and solutions.

About the team

The WWSO Telco team positions AWS as the best place to run Telco workloads. Our team helps customers migrate Telco workloads and Data to the AWS cloud while providing a secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure for customers to innovate and unlock new potential.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 7+ years design/implementation/consulting experience of distributed applications.
  2. 5+ years management of technical, customer-facing resources.
  3. 5+ years of industry experience with GenAI/LLM in a business development/partner capacity.
  4. Experience influencing and negotiating with customers, up to the c-suite or VP level.
  5. Experience in describing and selling technical cloud services or software technology products.
  6. History of successful technical consulting and/or architecture engagements with large-scale customers or enterprises.
  7. AWS Solution Architecture certification or relevant cloud expertise.
