Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Sprinkler System Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and commissioning automatic sprinkler systems to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and test automatic sprinkler systems to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Fabricate, install, and repair sprinkler system pipework and components.
  • Provide excellent customer service to meet the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
  • Work safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, and loss of unused materials.
  • Accurately complete engineer work reports, handover certificates, and pressure test certificates as required.

Requirements

  • Appropriate experience in a customer-facing environment.
  • Demonstrate a successful track record of achievement.
  • Preferable time served within a technical environment such as fire sprinkler systems.
  • Must possess sound industry knowledge and have shown background through recognized apprenticeship or hold similar qualification.
  • Knowledge of the British Standard BSEN12845 and Factory Mutual regulations.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and climb ladders.
  • Ability to use power tools to repair and/or dismantle systems pipework or components.
