Camino Search is partnering with a PE-backed services business to find an M&A and PMI lead.

The company has acquired multiple businesses in the past couple of years and is set to complete more acquisitions soon.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the M&A strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's growth objectives.
  • Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets, managing the entire M&A lifecycle from initial contact to integration.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence, including financial, legal, and operational assessments involving internal managers where required.
  • Prepare and present acquisition proposals and updates to the board and investors.
  • Build and maintain relationships with target companies, particularly family-led businesses, ensuring a smooth acquisition process.
  • Collaborate closely with the Project Office, HR lead, CFO, and operating teams to ensure seamless integration of acquired businesses to the point of BAU.
  • Manage semi-chief of staff responsibilities, including preparation for board meetings and process management for integration.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have experience in M&A and PMI, with a strong understanding of the company's growth objectives and the ability to drive strategic growth.

They will be able to identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets, manage the entire M&A lifecycle, and conduct thorough due diligence.

The candidate will also be able to build and maintain relationships with target companies and ensure a smooth acquisition process.

They will work closely with the Project Office, HR lead, CFO, and operating teams to ensure seamless integration of acquired businesses.
