Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished Medical Director to lead our clinical team at Cygnet Hospital Sherwood. As Senior Clinical Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of clinical practice, ensuring optimal patient outcomes, and providing expert knowledge and support to the wider team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective clinical strategies to drive patient-centered care
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to colleagues to enhance their skills and expertise
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external standards and regulations, promoting a culture of quality and excellence

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Fully GMC registered with a relevant medical qualification
  • An accomplished leader and clinician with strong line management and communication skills
  • Experience within a mental health setting and a multidisciplinary team
  • Knowledgeable of all aspects of clinical governance, including medical appraisals, clinical supervision, case investigation, and case management
